The dock port assembly is held in place with a

small amount of adhesive. Using the flat end of

the spudger carefully peel up the entire dock port

assembly and remove it from the L9.

Use the heat gun/blow drier to heat the adhesive

securing the LCD and touch screen assembly to

the phone's frame. This will loosen the connection

between the two and help prepare the screen

assembly for removal from the plastic trim.

The display assembly needs to be separated from

the plastic frame. Insert the spudger or a

screwdriver through the opening for the front

facing camera, from the back begin to push the

display assembly away from the frame.
