Dock Port Assembly

The dock port assembly is secured with a small amount

of adhesive. Use the spudger to peel up and remove
this assembly from the LG Nexus 4.
Use the heat gun or blow drier to heat the

adhesive securing the LCD and touch screen
assembly to the smartphone's frame.
To begin the separation of the display assembly from the

plastic frame, insert the plastic opening tool in the
earpiece speaker's opening to begin prying the display
assembly from the plastic frame.
Continue to work the plastic opening tool around
the perimeter of the display assembly until it is
completely seperated from the frame.
