For packing reasons the machine is
not completely assembled.

5.2 Assembly

If you notice any transport damage
while unpacking, notify your supplier
immediately. Do not operate the
machine!
Dispose of the packing in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Clean all rust protected surfaces with
a mild solvent.
Operating Handle Installation:
Screw the threaded end (D, Fig 1) of
the operating handle (B) into the
threaded opening (E).
Tighten the lock nut (C).
Attach the cable connector (F) to the
socket (G) on the back of the
switchbox.
Attach the cable cover (H) with four
pan head screws (J).
Make sure the cable is not pinched.

Stock Stop Installation:
Thread the assembly into the
mounting bracket (E, Fig 2) and
tighten the rod.

Slide stock stop (B) onto the rod and
tighten the knob (A).

5.3 Mains connection

Mains connection and any extension
cords used must comply with
applicable regulations.
The mains voltage must comply with
the information on the machine
licence plate.
The mains connection must have a
10A surge-proof fuse.
Only use power cords marked
H07RN-F
Connections and repairs to the
electrical equipment may only be
carried out by qualified electricians.

5.4 Starting operation

You can energize the machine with
the green ON-button.
You can start the machine by pressing
the trigger on the hand grip with your
fingers.
To stop the saw release the trigger.
The red OFF-button on the main
switch disconnects the machine from
power source.
In case of machine overload the motor
overload cut-off will react.
After appr.10 min of cooling the
machine can be started again.

6. Machine operation

Correct working position:
In front of the machine standing in the
direction of cutting.

Workpiece handling:
Support long workpieces with helping
roller stands.
Work only with a sharp and flawless
sawblade.
Don't take measurements or
adjustments when the machine is
running
Don't chuck too short in vice.
Don't cut magnesium-
high danger to fire!
Ensure that the saw blade protective
cover is in the correct position before
you start sawing.
Place workpiece in vise and tighten
vise. The workpiece should be fitted
directly between the jaws without
adding other objects.
Never hold a workpiece just by hand –
the workpiece must be firmly clamped
in the vise (Fig 3).

Do not reach into the cutting area
during cutting operations.
The cutting head must be returned
carefully to its starting position after
cutting.
The condition of the blade should be
checked before each machining
process.
Work only with a sharp and flawless
sawblade.
Select saw blade in relation to
material to be cut.
Coolant system:
Use the coolant facility to keep cutting
temperatures down, reduce friction
and extend the life of your sawblade.
Make sure the cutting liquid is properly
contained to the machine.
Use only water soluble cutting
emulsions and dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly manner.
The coolant flow control valve (Fig 4)
is located on the back of the saw.
Adjust the valve to achieve desired
flow.
