parttimingchaindrivetoasingle-parttimingchaindrive.Deflectionviatheintermediateshaftonthe
toptimingchainandthesecondtimingchainisnolongerneeded.Thechainsusedhereare8 mm
sleeve-typechains.Becausetheintermediategearingisnolongerneeded,thenumberofteethonthe
crankshaft(23 teeth)andtheVANOSadjuster(46 teetheach)hasalsochanged.
