Caution
When you remove the PCMCIA card, make sure that you use
the ejector of the PCMCIA port. Under no circumstances should
you attempt to pull the card out of the PCMCIA slot by the cable
of the bus adapter.
The PCMCIA card may only be removed when no communica-
tion is taking place otherwise you may experience a blue
screen.
4. Make sure that no tensile stress is exerted on the PCMCIA
card by the connected bus adapter.
Attachment to PROFIBUS
1. Plug the bus terminal connected to the PROFIBUS cable
into the 9-pin sub D socket connector on the side of the bus
adapter.
2. Lock the bus terminal and bus adapter together using the
securing screws.
3. Make sure that no tensile stress is exerted on the bus
adapter by the connected PROFIBUS cable.
