Quick Start

Note:
If the Touch shows no function after the first start up, please start the system again and calibrate
manual the touch.

Switch the device on: no driver

Procedure
1. Switch the system on.
2. The LED "POWER" is on. The system is in operation and boots.
Self test
After connection to the power supply, the device performs a self-test. During the self-test,
the message "pres<F2> to enter SETUP" appears briefly.
When the self-test is finished, the operating system will be loaded.
Operating system and driver
The information can be found in the chapter „Operating and parametrizing" in the
Instruction manual „SIMATIC Panel PC 677, Control Unit".
5.3.

Switch the device on: driver are installed

The Panel PC Remote Kit is a refitting; the driver installation is already done during the
start up with the centralized configuration
Note:
If a USB interface is used later from an external device, a new request for the drivers will
happen.
