8. Connecting the HomePilot®

8.1 Connecting the DuoFern USB stick

Open the cover of the USB compartment on the underside of
the HomePilot®.

Insert the DuoFern USB stick into a free
USB port.

Then close the USB compartment again and place the
HomePilot® on a firm surface.

The USB compartment contains the two
USB ports 3 and 4.
The rubber mat usually leaves no contact marks
on the storage surface. However, this cannot be
guaranteed for all surfaces and lacquers in view of
the wide variety of lacquers and finishes used on
furniture.
