BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Before first use it is recommended to clean the wok pan and lid with hot water
and soap.
• Make sure that the plug, cord or contact points don't come in contact with water.
• Place the removable thermostat plug into the socket from the wok.
• Put the plug into a wall socket.
• Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature.
• When the indication light goes out the wok is ready for use.
NOTE: when using the wok for the first time we recommend to apply a bit of
vegetable oil on the non-stick coating on the inside of the wok. Use kitchen gloves and
a paper towel and pay attention so you don't get burned.
CLEANING
• Turn off the temperature dial completely and remove the plug from the socket.
• Let the appliance cool down.
• Remove the thermostat plug from the wok by pressing the clip at the side of the
plug and pulling the plug out of the wok. You can easily do this with one hand.
Clean it with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse in water.
• You can detach the base from the wok pan. Remove the screw at the bottom
of the unit. Now you can remove the wok pan from the base. The base can be
cleaned with a damp cloth
• Never immerse the base into water. Clean it with a damp cloth, if necessary with
some mild detergent.
• The wok pan and lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher or with warm water with
some mild detergent.
