Remove the heat exchanger.
Clean the heat exchanger with a soft brush
and a vacuum cleaner at all four inlets.
In special cases, e.g. if there are clear traces
of accumulated, dirty condensate water in
the heat exchanger, it is necessary to clean
the heat exchanger with soapy water outside
the unit.
Wait until the heat exchanger is completely dry and reinsert it then.
Remove the heat exchanger in order to inspect the drip tray.
Check that the condensate drain is not clogged in the drip tray.
Clean the drip tray with soapy water and a brush/ cloth.
Reinsert the heat exchanger.
Check drain hoses and valves for damage and proper installation. See optimal instal-
lation on page 32.
Make sure that the hose drops minimum 1% toward the drain
Make sure that the hose is protected against frost from unit to drain
Ensure that there is water in the hose's siphon.
Ensure that all gaskets are sealed completely
before mounting the front cover.
Check that all connections are securely connected to the PCB.
Mount the front cover with the two screws and then put the upper part of the front
cover back in place.
