Overheating protection
If the water temperature exceeds the preset
level, the power button will go out, an
acoustic signal will sound 3 times and the
kettle will switch to standby. If such case,
disconnect the mains cord plug from your
electric outlet, empty the kettle, put it away
from its base and allow it to cool down for
about 20 minutes. Then, fi ll your kettle with
clean cold water, put it on its base and plug
the mains cord in the electric outlet.
Dry-boil protection
If the kettle recognizes no water inside, the
heating will stop. The power button will go
out and the kettle will turn off completely.
A safety fuse will trip. Detach your kettle from
its base and rinse with cold water. Disconnect
the mains plug from the electric outlet, wait
about 5 minutes and then reconnect.
Heating element
If the heating element fails, the
appliance's electric circuit will open and all
indicators will go out. "E1" will appear on the
display. No kettle features will be available.
