Commissioning
Safety Precautions:
• Insure the FEC920 is properly attached to mounting surface
• Ensure power is off to all wiring coming to the FEC920
WARNING
Turn off main power before installing AC connections to the flowmeter. Contact with
exposed wiring may lead to fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.
CAUTION
Disable power before servicing fuse F1.
Wiring Power:
1. Open enclosure by releasing latches on side of unit
2. Install cable glands as needed, pass power cables through to the wiring
terminals inside the FEC920
a. Power is recommended to enter at location15 as seen in figure 2 below.
b. Remove protective NEMA cover
c. Insure cable gland is tightened once wiring is complete for proper seal
d. The wiring terminals are clearly marked with labels that identify the
numbers and symbols referenced below.
3. Wire system power:
a. For 85-264 VAC units, wire the:
i. Hot to the "F1" labeled terminal of Fuse block
ii. Neutral to the "N" labeled terminal of Fuse block
iii. Ground to the Ground lug on the base plate – Labeled
b. For 24VDC units wire the:
i. +24V to the "F1" labeled terminal of Fuse block
ii. Neutral to the "N" labeled terminal of Fuse block
iii. Shield to the Ground lug on the base plate – Labeled
