    PUZZLE-A001 1.1 Overview Figure 1-1: PUZZLE-A001 Series The PUZZLE-A001 is a 1 U network appliance series powered by AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3000 series processor. It is optimized to host VNFs (Virtual Network Functions) and is ideal for SD-WAN. The PUZZLE-A001 supports eight copper GbE ports for high-speed network applications, and four 10GbE SFP+ connections.

    PUZZLE-A001. The PUZZLE-A001’s cooling vents must not be obstructed by any objects. Blocking the vents can cause overheating of the PUZZLE-A001.     To install the DIMM module, please follow the steps below. Step 1: Remove the top cover from the PUZZLE-A001. Please follow the instruction described in Section 3.2. Step 2: Locate the DIMM slots on the motherboard.

    PUZZLE-A001 3.4 HDD Installation The PUZZLE-A001 allows installation of two 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD. To install HDDs into the system, please follow the steps below. Step 1: Remove the top cover from the PUZZLE-A001. Please follow the instruction described in Section 3.2.

    PUZZLE-A001 3.5 PCIe Expansion Card Installation The PUZZLE-A001 allows installation of two PCIe x4 cards. To install a PCIe expansion card, please follow the steps below. Step 1: Remove the top cover from the PUZZLE-A001 (refer to Section 3.2). Step 2: Remove the four expansion slot module retention screws indicated below.
