System name can contain up to 20 characters, consisting of the usual Alpha-numeric characters, dash (-) and Chinese characters.

    Restart/Shutdown Choose “Restart” to restart or shutdown the VioGate server. If you choose to shutdown the system, please turn off the power switch located on the back of the VioGate server.
  • Page 25 VioGate Viewer If you choose to record image files using the VioGate server, the server will automatically save video files (with .ivg as the extension) to the specified storage device. The video files will have following filename format: yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss.ivg. You can connect to the server and copy the video files to your personal computer and launch the VioGate Viewer to view the file content.

You can go to the web site of DynDNS (http://www.dyndns.org/) and register for a dynamic domain name. Configure and activate the DDNS service, then the Internet users will be able to access your VioGate via this dynamic domain name.
