Initial startup

The start screen (Fig. 1) will appear after the
connection to the controller component has
been established or the system has been
switched on.
Fig. 1:
Start screen
The system starts the pre-set Power on menu
after the boot phase. Exceptions to this are:
– Communication with the controller com-
ponent is not possible (e.g. defective con-
nector cable),
– The controller component is being run
with a firmware version that is not at least
1.26,
– No language pack has been loaded (see
chapter 2.4).

Languages
The SD301 system display can be switched
between two languages (see chapter 5.4.3
or 6.3.1), which are saved in the SE3xx/
SEH3x2 or KE3xx. The SD301 supports the
German and English language.
The German and English language
packs of the current BS300 ver-
sion are stored on the controller
components on delivery.
The following error message will appear in
German and English if the language packs
are not loaded in the controller: "Sprachpa-
ket fehlt! Bitte mit BS300 laden." / "Lan-
guage pack missing! Please load with
BS300."
If the language pack version does not corre-
spond to the firmware version, an error mes-
sage will display in German and English:
"Sprachversion und FW Version sind unter-
schiedlich! Bitte Sprachpaket mit BS300
laden" / "Language and firmware version are
different! Please load language pack with
BS300."
2.5
Screen Saver Mode
If the system display does not receive any
data over a certain period of time, the back-
ground lighting will switch itself off. It will start
again immediately when the SE3xx/SEH3x2/
KE3xx sends data to the system display, or if
the touch-screen is touched.
A pattern appears during screen saver mode
to make it easier to differentiate between a
display in screen saver mode and a switched
off display or a display with defective back-
ground lighting.
You can set the time for the system display to
go into screen saver mode directly on the
SD301 and under System → System dis-
play configuration in the BS300.
