Cautionary noles:
■ do not insort a used battery or one ol a djfferent type;
■ if Ihe machine will remaln unused (oratong period, remove the baltery
from its comjiartment and störe it in a suilable place;
■ in normal conditions o( use, a new battoiy will have a life of auout one
year;
• spent batteries must bo disposed oF in aecordance wilh the laws in the
user's country.
To ensura that il «orte properl/, each thermametsr is poweted separalely by
one 1.5 V bullort battery [cofJe GPA76).
Warning: Only handle tha ihormometer with your hands. Do not
| \ use any type ol tool that could damage the thermometer
To replace the ballery procoBü as follows:
• using a scfewdnver. removii the front covei:

Thc temperature sensor can only be reset by a specialized
technician. who must organiie all ol the operaiing sequencos
and the use of the correct equipmont lo operale in stritt com-
pliance wlth the current laws to Ihis regard.
Warning: alter tho lemperalure sonsor has Intervoned to shut
| \ dov/n the machine, it is indispensable to drain out any produet
contained inside the bowl and to denn all components beforc
restoring ihe machine funetions.
Warning: before resetting the temperature sensor. switch off
|\ the machino using the relevant switch and unplug it from thc
etectricily mains, then wait for the machine to cool down.
The Operator is strictly prohibited (rom resetting the boiler tank
minimum water level tomperalure sensor.
Use a smtable lool lo loosen and remove Ihe pruiective screw (A);
remove the used ballery and fit a new one in ils place. laWng care to comply

cIüss Ihe cover of the baltery compartmenl
Nota: the Cover must be closed by hand; shouldyouencounter
any difliculty in closing the cover, check whether the battery
l|J^ beon corrcctly positioned.
