7.12. Emptying the boiler
Waming: while tho boiler is being emptied, the machine must
|\ beurtplugged.
Warnlng: the boiler may be emptied only whon the bawl is emp-
^ ly and Ihe machine has cooled down suffi cienlly.
The use of waterfrom the bailer tank for food purposes is sttict-
ly prohitaited.
To empty the boiler proeeed as fallows.
■ uriplug Ihe machine;
■ remoi/e Ihe dfip Iray, as described in the feievant paragraph 7 8;
■ remove iho cap (A);
pull oul Ihe cap (C) wilh a firm movement and wail for all Ihe water to empty
oul from ihe boiler lank
place Ihe machiiie an a flat suflace arid with the boiler lank water level indi-
caior tray lurnod Iowarüs to ihe ouier edge of Ihe aupport surfaca;
place a conlamer (3) Witti a capacity ot mera lhan 3 litres (0.8 US gals)
unrJemsaih the blaeder cap (C).
use a coin or Alten wrench to unscTew the blesder cap (C)
7.13. Cleaning and de-scaling the boiler tank

Operation Is recommended at least once every 3 monlhs.
Follow the sleps for draming out Ihe boiler tank, sea paragraph ?.I1.

insarl water plus scole remaver for coffee maclunes inlo the lank (follow the
instmetions on ihe scale remover package).
leave Ihe solution to acl for the lime indicaled in the imtruetions ol the solu-
lion iiseff;
empty oul Ihe soluüon from inside Ina boiler lank, see paragraph 7.11;
nnse out the lank wilh plenty of waler, by filling and emplying it. see para-
giaphs6 t and7.11.
