CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
7;1. Cleaning and sanitation procedures
M.v.liirii; cleaning and maintenance must be perfarmed with Ihe
|\ main switch set to -OFF- and the machine unplugged Irom the
mains electricity.
Warning: each time lhal the bowl is Rlled with any type of prod-
|\ uet (food or 5,-ininsNig produet). make sure that the mixing rod
is present.
Warning: before carrying out any cleaning Job wait until the ma-
* chinehascooleddownsufficiently.
Before performing any cleaning and maintenance Operation on
the machine, woar the personal prcteclions (glovos, glasses.
etc.), which are recommended by the safety Standards in force
in Ihe i.oi i! i'i y whore tho machine is used.
When perfoming ihe Cleaning and Maintenance operations. foilow these in-
stfuctlorts:
wear proteclicn acddenl-prool glrjves;
do not u=e solvente or infl ammable maierials;
do not use abrasive andior melal spongss io clean the mactime and ils com-
ponents;
take care to avoid dlspersing liquids in ihe surroundlng area,
do nol wash machine componenis in a dishwasiier;
do nol dry parls of 1ha machino in a convenlional anä'or micrüwawe oven;
do not immefse Uia machme in water,
da not expase the machine lo direct sprays of water
cSean only wiih warm water and a samtistng produet made from sodium
hypochlorte diluled in waler to obiain an aclive Chloride concentration of
0 02%.
• on completing work. make sure lhai all proiective Covers and guards lliat
have Seen ramoued or opened are sei back in place arid properly sectired.
Cleaning and sanillzation are operations that must be perturrned with utmost
care and on a regulär basis toguarantes the quality of Sie beuerages dispensed
and compliancs with mandstory hygiene Standards.
Each bowl must be cleaned and sanitized for a produet change
a! least every 2 days and in any case in compliance with the
..:..:.■ hygieno regulalions in the uscr's country. These opera
tions musl be made more frequenlly i[ demnnded by the char-
acteristics of the produet used; for further dctails. contact the
produet supplier.

When performing cleaning and sanilalion operations. proceed as described

ompty ihe produet from the bowl,
isee paragraph 7.2);
remove (he bowl from Ihe machine,
[sec paragrapfi 7.3);
remove the tap from the machine,
(see paragraph 7.4);
clean Ihe pan,
(see paragraph 7.5);

dlsnssemble the tap previously removed from the machine,
iseü paragraph 7.6);
wash and sanitise the machinc's component parts,
(see paragraph 7 7);
refil the bowl on the machine,
isee paragraph 7.8.1);

DSD a damp cloth and'or non-abrasive sponge soaked in sanitising pro
duet to cloan the tap coupling;
re-assemble the tap,
(see paragraph 7.8.2);
fit the tap onto the machine.

clean the drip tray,

clean the bowl lidusinga damp cloth and/ora non-abrasive sponge.

clean and de-scale the boiler tank,
