Vitodens 100-W Venting Options
For an overview of venting options refer to the appendix starting on page 19. For detailed
information refer to the Vitodens Venting System Installation Instructions.
Electrical Connection
All electrical connections are made to the
boiler's integrated power pump module (120
VAC/60 Hz). Use disconnect means and
power service switch as per local code
requirements.
Control Unit
Function and construction
The control is integrated into the Vitodens
100-W boiler.

operation, an external control or a room
temperature thermostat may be connected

DHW controller may be connected

Boiler temperature sensor
The boiler temperature sensor is connected
to the control unit and built into the boiler.
Frost protection
Frost protection is continuously active. The
burner is switched ON when the boiler
water temperature reaches 41°F / 5°C and
is switched OFF again when the boiler water
temperature reaches at least 59 °F / 15°C
(but not more than 68°F / 20°C).
