Troubleshooting

Check these questions first if you have problems with your handset.
Question
Is your battery
charged? Do you
see ï in the
screen?
Do you have a
valid USIM card
inserted in your
handset?
Does the handset
have a signal? Do
you see 1 in the
screen?
Is the earpiece
volume too low?
Is the other party
unable to hear
you?
Answer
The battery level indicator should have at
least one segment showing (î). If it
does not, recharge your battery.
See page 21.
If necessary, turn off your handset and
make sure that you have inserted a valid
USIM card.
See page 17.
The signal strength indicator should have
at least one segment showing (2). If it
does not, move to an area with a stronger
signal to use your handset.
While on a call, press the upper volume
key on the side of your handset.
Your handset may be muted. Press the
key if necessary to unmute the
UNMUTE
handset.
Also, make sure that your handset's
microphone is not blocked by its carrying
case or a sticker.
