Only operate the device under supervision.

ing materials are to be observed in commercial institutions.

5. DC CONNECTION

Connect the inverter to the DC supply voltage using the cigarette lighter plug (14), which is plugged into a
cigarette lighter socket or dash socket. The centre pin of the plug is connected with the (+) plus lead and the
two side clamps of the plug with the (-) lead.
The input voltage must not exceed the stated range (see technical data)!
The fuse triggers if the inverter is inserted with the wrong polarity. The vehicle con-
nection (socket) and the lead must be designed for the maximum input current of the
inverter (see technical data). The fuse capacity of the outlet must not be exceeded.
When inserting the cigarette lighter plug, ensure secure connection. An insecure /
loose connection can lead to excess heating and in the worst case scenario could
cause a fire.
Do not operate any devices which are connected to the inverter while you are dri-
ving.
Always connect the inverter to an on-board / cigarette lighter plug first and then con-
nect it to the end device.
Note that some vehicle models require you to turn on the ignition so that the inverter is sup-
plied with power.
