Troubleshooting Problem Solution No.sound.is.being. Activate.phantom.power.on.your.camcorder,.mixer,.or.recording.device. recorded. Make.sure.the.camcorder.or.mixer.is.turned.on. Your.preamp.gain.may.be.turned.all.the.way.down..Gradually.turn.it.up. until.reaching.a.satisfactory.input.level. Make.sure.the.microphone.is.properly.connected.and.that.the. connections.are.secure.
