Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes
on operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is
handed over to a third party!
The unit does not belong into the hands of children. Keep it out of
reach of children and persons in need of supervision. Do not
leave it lying around and make sure it cannot become a toy.
Do not expose the unit to dust, dirt, humidity, excessive tempera-
tures or strong vibrations. Avoid strong mechanical stresses.
Never immerse the unit into liquids of any kind. Only use the unit
indoors or in dry places.
Handle the laser tachometer carefully. Do not drop the unit.
Do not switch the measuring instrument on immediately after it
has been taken from a cold to a warm environment. Condensa-
tion that forms might destroy your device. Leave the device
switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature.
The product is equipped with a laser of laser class 2 according to
EN 60825-1:2007.

The laser opening is marked with the triangular laser caution
label. Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people
or animals. Laser radiation can cause damage to eyes or skin.
