Initial Commissioning
• You need to know the PBX's IP address
• You need to know the mobile device's IPUI
Note: You will find more information in the Instructions/help for the PBX.
Note: You can find out the handset's IPUI on the packaging label or scan
it in. Alternatively, you can view the IPUI on the display. To do so, press
the centre of the control key
The first entry you see is the IPUI. Example: 1: 029E74A560
Carry out these steps:
• A PBX profile must be configured for the PBX.
– Perform configuration on the Settings > Provider or PBX profiles page
in the Web configurator on the COMfortel WS-500S/WS-500M
– Necessary settings:
Connection name or number
System
Domain
• For each physical mobile device, you must configure a mobile device and
assign that mobile device to the PBX profile.
– Perform configuration on the Settings > Mobile devices >
Administration page in the Web configurator on the COMfortel WS-
500S/WS-500M
– Necessary settings:
IPUI
Authentication name
Authentication
password
Username
Display name
VoIP provider
• Each mobile device must be registered on the Integrator/DECT Manager.
