Installing/removing
the grass collection box

Caution! Do not
operate the machine
with the grass
collection box or rear
deflector installed
incompletely. Risk of
injury!
Assembling the grass

collection box.

1. Lift the rear deflector (28)
2. If the mulching plug (36) is
installed, remove it.
3. Hold the grass collection
box upper handle (32) and
insert the grass collection
box (29) onto the hooks
4. Release the rear deflector
(28) to secure the grass
collection box (29) in
position.
5. To remove the grass
collection box (29), reverse
the steps above.

Caution! Stop
the machine and
make sure the
blade has stopped
completely.
1. Lift the rear deflector (28).
2. Insert the mulching
plug (36) into the rear
discharge chute until
the latch at the bottom
is aligned with the
respective hole in the
chute. Push down the
plug until it locks in place
with an audible "click".
Verify secure installation.
3. Release the rear deflector
(28) to cover the mulching

plug (36).

4. To remove the mulching
