USB OPERATION
7.1
Inserting and removing USB storage device
This appliance supports the audio format MP3 and can play this format directly from a USB

storage device.
Press repeatedly the SOURCE button on the appliance until
■
switch to USB mode directly. The display briefly shows
Insert a USB storage device into the USB port.

The appliance starts reading the USB device, the display briefly shows
■
After USB is read, the display briefly shows the total number of folders and the total number
■
of tracks. The playback starts automatically with the first track of the first album. The number
of current track and the elapsed time are shown on the display.
The playback functions of USB mode are identical to MP3 CD playback (
■
If no USB memory is inserted or no readable files are on the data storage medium, the
■
display shows
To remove the USB memory: Gently pull it out from the USB port.
■
Note: When the appliance is switched on, you can recharge external USB devices through
■
the USB port.
8.
CONNECTING EXTERNAL APPLIANCES
External appliances, e.g. MP3 players or similar, can be connected via the 3.5 mm AUDIO IN
■
socket.
Note: A suitable connection cord is needed (not included).
■
Connect the external appliance to the AUDIO IN socket.
■
Press repeatedly the SOURCE button until the display shows
■
When an external appliance is connected, all playback functions will be managed through the
■
external appliance's controls.
The volume can still be controlled through this appliance's volume controls
(
Basic functions).
Should the volume still be too low, adjust the volume of the external appliance.
