Note: The appliance draws a small amount of power even if it is not turned on. If you do not
use the appliance for a longer period of time, disconnect the power plug to completely switch
off the appliance.

Remote control – inserting batteries
For operation of the remote control 1 x 1.5 V
battery (type AAA / LR03 / R03) is needed (not
supplied).
Lift up and remove the battery compartment cover.
Insert the battery according to the polarity
markings inside the battery compartment and on
the battery.
Close the battery compartment cover and make
sure it snaps into place.
If the remote control does not work properly,
replace the battery.
Use batteries of high quality only. Batteries of low
quality might leak and cause damage.
Note: Remove the battery if the remote control
is not to be used for a longer period of time, as it
might be damaged by leaking batteries.

Remote control – using tips
Aim the remote control directly at the appliance.
The distance should be less than 7 metres and
within 30°. Make sure there are no obstacles
between the remote control and unit.
The remote control may be less effective if:
there are obstacles between the remote control
and the appliance.

the battery is low.

Switching the appliance on and off

Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet. The standby power indicator light up in red.
