4.3 Self-generated noise
The self-generated electrical noise of the device including preamplifier (measured with equivalent capaci-

at the input) amounts to approx. 16 dB(A) on the display. The acoustic noise is 16 dB. This
is a total noise level of 19 dB. The highest noise level may be expected when externally powered.
4.3.1 Measurement of low noise levels
For the measurement of low noise levels not special preparation is required.
