System Configuration

This chapter describes how to configure the global system settings and perform diagnostics. It contains the
following topics:

LAN

This section describes the process to configure the port, VLAN, LLDP, IPv4, and IPv6 settings on the WAP
device.

IPv4 Configuration

Use the IPv4 Configuration section to configure the IPv4 address.
Select LAN > IPv4 Configuration.
Step 2
Configure the following IPv4 settings:
• Connection Type-By default, the DHCP client on the WAP device automatically broadcasts the requests for
network information. If you want to use a static IP address, you must disable the DHCP client and manually configure
the IP address and other network information.
Choose one of the following options:
• DHCP-The WAP device acquires its IP address from a DHCP server on the LAN.
• Static IP-Manually configure the IPv4 address. The IPv4 address should be in a form similar to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
(192.168.1.100).
• Static IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway-Enter the static IP address, subnet mask and default
gateway.
