Power On / Off
Power On: Hold down the Center Button and the Plus (+) Button at the same time until the blue
LED appears. You'll hear a voice prompt say "Hello". The red LED will flash a certain number of
times to indicate the battery level.
4 flashes = High, 70% ~ 100%
3 flashes = Medium, 30% ~ 70%
2 flashes = Low, 0% ~ 30%
When you power on the headset, keep holding down the Center Button and the Plus (+) Button for
about 3 seconds until you hear high tone triple beeps. You will hear a voice prompt indicating that the
battery level is High, Medium, or Low.
Power Off: Hold down the Center Button and the Plus (+) Button at the same time until the red
LED appears. You'll hear a voice prompt say "Goodbye".
Talk to your fellow workers over the intercom in full duplex using Bluetooth by pairing them together.
Once paired together, you can connect or disconnect the intercom. You can pair 2-4 Helmets together.
Procedure to Pair #1 and #2 Helmets
On the #1 helmet, hold down the Center Button for 5 seconds until you hear the voice prompt
say "Intercom Pairing" to place the Tufftalk Lite into Intercom Pairing Mode.
On the #2 helmet, hold down the Center Button for 5 seconds until you hear the voice prompt
say "Intercom Pairing" to place the Tufftalk Lite into Intercom Pairing Mode.
When both helmets are Intercom Pairing Mode and the LEDs are flashing red rapidly, tap the
Center Button once on either of the helmets.
The LEDs will change to flashing blue slowly on both helmets at the same time.
Tap the Center Button once on either of the headset/helmets to disconnect the intercom.
Procedure to Pair #1 and #3 Helmets
On the #1 helmet, hold down the Center Button for 5 seconds until you hear the voice prompt
say "Intercom Pairing" to place the Tufftalk Lite into Intercom Pairing Mode.
On the #3 helmet, hold down the Center Button for 5 seconds until you hear the voice prompt
say "Intercom Pairing" to place the Tufftalk Lite into Intercom Pairing Mode.
When both helmets are Intercom Pairing Mode and the LEDs are flashing red rapidly, tap the
Center Button once on either of the headset/helmets.
The LEDs will change to flashing blue slowly on both helmets at the same time.
Tap the Center Button once on either of the headset/helmets to disconnect the intercom.

Once paired together, #1 helmet can connect or disconnect the intercom with a specific helmet by tapping the Center Button a specific number of times for a 1-to-1 conversation. #4 helmet = 1 tap #3 helmet = 2 taps #2 helmet = 3 taps #4 helmet, #3 helmet or #2 helmet can connect to #1 helmet by tapping the Center Button once for a 1- to-1 conversation.
