OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FreshTrac Receiver Removal
The FreshTrac receiver can be removed from the decanter
when it needs to be replaced due to the battery expiring or

WARNING: Avoid using metal tools when installing
the receiver. Do not use excessive force to press the
receiver onto the handle.
The FreshTrac receiver attaches to the left side of the
decanter. It is held in place on the decanter by a pin and
Curtis decanter is FreshTrac compatible (has a hole in the
handle).
1 Position the receiver into the recessed area of the
handle as shown.
2 Press the receiver into the handle to attach. The
receiver should snap into place.
3 Position the decanter on an Alpha FreshTrac brewer
times when the BREW button is pressed. See Using the
FreshTrac Timer on the previous page for more details.
