Operating Instructions
"Topscore" electronic dartboard

Intended use
The electronic dartboard serves as a game for adults and comes with six darts. The dartboard
can be used for 18 different games and 159 game variants. Up to eight players can play a game
at a time. The dartboard must be attached to a wall. It is powered by three 1.5 V AA batteries
(not included).
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause a fire or other hazards. Read the operating instructions carefully and store them
in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating
instructions as well.

Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do
not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in these
operating instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal injury
or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the
product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Never use darts with steel tips. Steel tips can damage the dartboard and its
electronics.
• Do not throw darts with too much force. This can break the plastic tips and damage
the dartboard.
• Never spill liquids on electrical devices.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation that forms might destroy the device. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it into use.
This may take several hours.
• Do not place the product in the immediate vicinity of electric motors, magnets or
microwaves. Electromagnetic waves can interfere with the electronics.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be carried out by a technician
or a specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Batteries
• Check that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
• The batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period
of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries may
cause acid burns if they come into contact with your skin. Always use protective
gloves when handling damaged batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in
the device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never charge
non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!

Choosing a location
Choose a location to hang the dartboard where there is at least 3 m of open space in front of
the dartboard. The toe line should be 2.37 m from the face of the dartboard.
This dartboard is powered by three 1.5 V AA batteries (not included). Insert the batteries before
attaching the dartboard to the wall. See "Inserting the battery" section.
Choose a wall and attach the dartboard with the screws provided. Mark the drill holes on the
wall in advance. Hang the dartboard on the upper screw. Then mark the drill holes for the lower
screws. Ensure the dartboard is straight by using a spirit level. The lower screws must be
fixed in horizontal position. Make sure the dartboard is flush with the wall. The bull's eye of the
dartboard should be 1.73 m from the ground. See figure below.
