with double insulation. No
grounding means is provided
on a double insulated
appliance, nor should a means
for grounding be added to the

of the system, and should be
done only by qualified service
personnel. Replacement
parts for a double-insulated
appliance must be identical
to the parts they replace.
The QuantumX is equipped
14
with an interlock switch
that prevents the unit from
operating if the water basin is
not properly latched;
DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO OVERRIDE THIS

SAFETY FEATURE.

NOT protect against bodily
injury or damage to objects that
contact the rotating brush.
To reduce the risk of electric
16
shock, this appliance may have
a polarized plug (one blade is
different than the other).
This plug will fit in a polarize
outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper
outlet.
DO NOT change the
plug in any way.

If the power cord is damaged,
turn off the power switch on
the Quantum X and unplug
the unit. Power cord must be
replaced by an Authorized
Quantum X Service Technician.

Make sure the Quantum X is in the upright position. Press the foot release button to lock the handle in place, preventing it from rolling.

Flashing headlights on the Quantum X vacuum may indicate an electrical issue or a blockage. Troubleshooting suggests checking for blockages, but if the vacuum is new and was only used once, it could be a faulty unit. If the problem persists, seeking professional help is recommended.

@Mr. Anderson , I check for blockages and didn't find any. But, the roller brush is no longer turning. It is not very clogged with long hairs. I cleaned the roller brush and it turns freely. It will not turn when the vacuum is on. Thank you for the help, Paul

To remove the hose from the Quantum X vacuum, locate the back of the machine where the hose connects. Identify the notch on the hose connector—it must be aligned straight up and down to fit into the slot. To remove the hose, twist it to unlock, then pull it out.

To remove the bottom plate of the Quantum X to clean the brush, you need to take out all the screws on the bottom. Once the screws are removed, the bottom plate will come off, giving you access to the brush area for cleaning.

how do you clean the rotating bar of hair etc.? Can you take it out to clean it?

To clean the rotating bar (brush) on the QUANTUM X, do not remove the bottom panel, as doing so does not help with cleaning, can damage the vacuum, and voids the warranty. Instead, use small scissors and a comb to remove hair from the brush while it is still in place. The brush cannot be removed for cleaning.

My vacuum smells moldy when I turn it on. It made the whole room smell.

The QUANTUM X vacuum smells moldy when turned on because dust and debris clog the filters, which then blow out and recirculate into the air. After use, storing the warm vacuum in a dark closet creates a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses. These germs multiply, causing a stale, musty odor when the vacuum is used again.
