CAUTION: Disconnecting the I/O board resets the BIOS setup program's settings to default. Before disconnecting the

1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the hard drive.

Procedure

1. Remove the three screws (M2.5x5) that secure the left hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Lift the left hinge.
