    GENERAL INFORMATION Theory of Heat Fusion Nomenclature The principle of heat fusion is to heat two pipe surfaces to Hornet™ XL Carriage a designated temperature, and then fuse them together by application of force. This develops pressure which causes flow of the melted materials, which causes mixing and thus fusion.

Correctly sized heater adapters must be installed before performing a fusion with the Hornet™ XL. The adapters are Heater Alignment sized by the main pipe size and the fitting size.
