FAN INSTALL AFTER UNIT INSTALLATION
FAN INSTALLATION
1. The fan may be installed after the unit has been installed and finished.
Ensure the unit is turned off and has cooled to room temperature.
2. Shut off the power and gas to the unit.
8. Remove centre screw and loosen screw on light assembly as shown.
3. Remove the screen and glass door. (See sections: Safety screen
removal / Installation & glass door removal / Installation)
4. Remove any media already installed (logs, glass, etc.) and set aside.
5. Remove the log grate.
6. Remove the burner.
7. Remove the firebox floor panel (brick or enamel).
Remove 8 screws from the firebox floor access panel as shown.

9. Pivot light assembly out to 90°.
10. Remove eight (8) screws from fi rebox fl oor access panel.
8. Remove the screen from the light assembly.
9. Lift out access panel with light assembly and set aside.
10. Loosen 2 screws off from the IFC box and set aside.

11. Lift out panel with light assembly and set aside, be careful of light
assembly wiring.

11. Connect the fan to the IFC and ground (follow Steps 4-6 from the previ-
ous page).
12. Manoeuvre fan assembly onto pins on unit fl oor via fan access opening.

12. To reinstall reverse steps 10 to 2.
13. Connect the fan to the DFC and ground—follow Steps 5-7 from the
previous page.
TO REMOVE THE FAN
1. Shut the power off.
2. Reverse the above instructions.
Note:
The bearings are lubricated for life. Do not lubricate
them. Make sure you vacuum the fan area on a regu-
lar basis.
IMPORTANT:
These fans collect a lot of dust from within your home. Ensure you
maintain these fan motors on a regular basis by vacuuming out the
fan blades and housing using a soft brush nozzle.
