HBA Overview

This chapter provides a basic overview of the single and dual port Sun StorageTek™
8 Gb Fibre Channel (FC) PCI-Express host bus adapter (HBA), Emulex (referred to as
Sun StorageTek 8 Gb FC PCI-Express HBA in this document), which uses Emulex
technology. This chapter also describes the various operating systems, host
platforms, storage, and infrastructure configurations that support the HBA and lists
