NOTE: When purchasing a motherboard for this case, make sure that the motherboard uses the same external/internal connections as the ATXSILENT. If your motherboard does not match the case, you may not be able to use some of the front ports. - Page 6 Fans: As with power supplies, StarTech.com recommends using silent case fans (like the StarTech.com FAN8X25TX3L) to maximize the effectiveness of your silent case. To further dampen the noise and vibration from your fans, you can use the triangular fan anti- vibration pads in the clamshell.

Using Your Front Ports First, make sure that the cables from your front USB 2.0 and audio ports are connected to your motherboard. Make sure that the IDE cable from the front IDE port is connected to an IDE port on your motherboard. If your cables are not connected properly, your front ports will not work. -
