500 mm. NOTE: It is important that the filtered air only leaves the room in which
the filter is mounted via this opening / grid / lowered plinth, and that the air cannot
escape through cracks, other openings, cupboards or drawers. The principle of
recirculation is then interrupted, the air flow is no longer constant. If you place
the filter in a room that is not completely airtight and where the blown-out air can
escape not only through a grille / lowered plinth, but also in other ways, make sure
that the filter is placed in a box or cove, and with ductwork is led to the opening /
grid.

7. Mounting instructions

Mounting on extraction unit
The extraction unit must be installed according to the guidelines for recirculation.
For this, see the manual for your extraction unit.
Mounting on the motor
Mount the PlasmaMade Airfilter carefully and level on the motor housing using
the mounting adapter. Use the ø 3,5 x 13 mm screws to mount the mounting adaptor
on the motor housing and to clamp the PlasmaMade Airfilter. Put the mains
adapter into the PlasmaMade Airfilter (on the top) and plug into the socket. After
activating the extractor hood motor the filter starts to operate automatically.

Mounting on the wall
Use a plumb rule to draw a perpendicular line where you want to attach the bracket.
Drill the first hole at this location (in this take account of the maximum dimension
indicated in the drawing) and 90 mm above it, the second hole (you can use the
fixing bracket to position the upper hole). Bend both sides of the fixing bracket
round and fix it to the wall using the plugs and ø 4.2 x 25 mm screws supplied.
Slide the PlasmaMade Airfilter on to the mounting bracket. Fit a duct (not
supplied) between the motor housing and the PlasmaMade Airfilter.

8. Guarantee

The guarantee applies to the electronic part and the operation of the PlasmaMade
Airfilter. A guarantee of 5 (five) years applies to these, assuming the conditions for
installation and fitting and the usage instructions as described are observed. To use
the warranty, you must send an e-mail to PlasmaMade at
service@plasmamade.com. Please state your name, phone number and the problem
in your mail. In a guarantee procedure, after evaluation of your current filter, a new
one will be sent to you. You will need to arrange any removal or refitting yourself;
