the device and understand its dangers.
Children should not play with the device.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by
children without supervision.
PlasmaMade Airfilter type GUC1314 has been
developed for consumer applications only. Use only 1
plasmafilter per room.
High flames, frying or flambéing below an extractor unit
is strongly advised against.
Overheated oil in a pan under the extractor unit is a fire
hazard.
Never block the air inlet or air outlet. Prior to clean or
other maintenance, the device must be disconnected
from the mains/power sockets. Only use a socket of 220-
240 V AC. Ensure that, after installation of the device,
the mains adapter remains accessible for disconnection.
Exclusively use the device with the supplied AC adapter.
The device must be supplied by an SELV circuit.
Make sure you activate the extractor unit, and with it the
plasmafilter, 10-15 minutes before cooking. Use a low
setting. During cooking, still use a low setting, but make
sure the airflow enters the unit nicely.
After cooking, make sure the plasmafilter stays on long
enough to eliminate all cooking odors. When odors are
still added, the plasmafilter cannot eliminate all of the
odors.
Use the filter for a maximum of 2 hours per 24 hours to
maximize the life of the filter to a maximum of 10-15
years. If you use the filter for more than 2 hours a day,
this might affect the lifespan, with as a result, you will
have to purchase a new filter sooner.
