FILTER CLEANING/REPLACEMENT

The High Performance lter is placed on the left hand side.
The ceramic lter is placed on the right hand side.
• Turn of the systems water source. Release water pressure by opening a connected
tap. It's a good idea to place a bowl or a towel under the puri cation system before
opening the lter houses.
• Open the ceramic lter housing using the enclosed tool.
• Remove the lter/ lters from the lter housing(s). Handle the ceramic lter with great
care – the 6 ceramic candles can easily break.
CLEANING THE CERAMIC FILTER:
Use the enclosed cleaning brush or the pad to clean the 6 lter candles with cold
water. Do not use soap! Put the cleaning brush around each candle, one at a time,
and rub their surface a couple of times. Put the lter back in the lter housing. Make
sure to place the lter in the correct direction – the black manifold should be
upwards (as on the illustration of the cartridge assembly).
FILTER REPLACEMENT:
Replace all of the 6 ceramic candles with new ones (loosen them carefully by
unscrewing them). Replace the High Performance lter. Put the lters back in the
lter housings. Make sure to place the lter in the correct direction – the black
manifold should be upwards (as on the illustration of the cartridge assembly).
• Re-attach the lter housing to the puri cation unit. Tighten with the enclosed tool
(it's su cient to tighten by hand).
• Make sure the housing is placed correctly. If the housing is attached askew, or the
O-ring or lter is placed incorrectly, a leak will probably occur.
• Open the water ow [1] into the puri cation system. Turn on the water and let the
water ow for about 3 minutes (this removes dirt, particles etc).
• Make sure that there are no leakages from the lter housings.
