3.4 Assembling the nebuliser

Check all nebuliser...
CAUTION
Check all nebuliser components and the accessories before each use. Replace any bro-
ken, misshapen or seriously discoloured parts. Please also follow the instructions for
assembly given below. Damaged components and/or an incorrectly assembled neb-
uliser may impair functioning of the nebuliser and thus treatment as well:
Check and ensure that the tubing is posi-
tioned correctly in the nozzle funnel:
• Slide the tubing onto the small plastic tube
as far as it will go (g).
• Gently tug the tubing downward to ensure
that it is as straight as possible.
Info: You can only ensure that virtually all of
the medication will be inhaled if a sufficient
length of tubing is protruding into the lower
section of the nebuliser.
• Place the nozzle funnel (1d) in the lower
section of the nebuliser (1c).
Ensure that the air connection (h) engages
in the recess (i) provided for this purpose in
the nebuliser's lower section.
• Insert the upper section of the nebuliser (1a)
into the middle section of the nebuliser (1b).

3.5 Filling with inhalation solution

As the inhalation solution is ...
CAUTION
As the inhalation solution is heated to approx. 80 °C in the nebuliser, only medication
with sufficient thermostability must be used. This prevents any interference with the
therapeutic effect of the inhalation.
