INSTALLING BATTERIES

1. The battery cover is
located along the left side
of the monitor. Place
thumb and index finger
on top and bottom
ridges.
2. Remove battery cover
by pressing and
pulling cover away
from the monitor.
3. Install lower battery first
according to the polarity
indications inside the
compartment. This
battery should be in the
bottom position as
shown in figure 3.

4. Place in the other
battery, according to
the polarity indications
inside the compartment
and as shown in
figure 4.
5. Replace the cover
by snapping it back
into place.
Replace the batteries if:
1. The weak battery
symbol appears in
the display.
2. Nothing appears in the display when the
power is switched on.
Replace the batteries in pairs. Remove
batteries when unit is not in use for extended
periods of time.
Note: Batteries are hazardous waste. Do
not dispose of them together with
the household garbage.
