COMMISSIONING THE DEVICE
After every use, switch off the device with the On/Off (O) function button and pull out the mains plug
(E) from the socket.
Always store the control unit (G) in its bag.

Removing the transport lock

1. Use the supplied Allen key to anti-clockwise unscrew the screws.
2. Properly dispose of the screws.
3. Under no circumstances screw the screws back into the thread! This can damage the device!
Commissioning
1. Position the Shiatsu massage seat cover on a chair or armchair with a high backrest and fasten it to the rear
with the retaining straps (A). Make sure that the backrest is high enough to stabilise the entire seat cover.
2. Insert the mains plug (E) into the socket. Make sure that it can be accessed easily.
3. Sit down on the Shiatsu massage seat cover and make yourself familiar with the functions of the device.
Make sure that you sit in a comfortable, upright and central position so that the massage heads (D) can
move on the left and right side of the spine.

Operating the device

The Promed MSA-900 Shiatsu massage seat cover is equipped with three functions for effective massage

treatment, i.e. finger pressure massage (Shiatsu massage), vibration massage and heat. The heat function can
only be used together with the Shiatsu massage in the back area, whereby it is also possible that the neck
massage and the vibration massage in the sitting area are switched on. Do not apply the device for more than
15 minutes at a time. After approx. 15 minutes, the device switches off automatically. Always allow the device

to cool completely before you use it again.
Control unit buttons

Using the buttons on the control unit (G), you operate the massage seat cover:
On/Off (O) function button
The On/Off function button switches the Promed MSA-900 Shiatsu massage seat cover on and off. Switch

the device on by pressing the On/Off (O) function button. The LED lights up. The device is now in standby mode.
If no other button is pressed, the device is switched off automatically after 15 minutes.
Demo (H) function button

The demo function can also be activated without having pressed the On/Off function button beforehand.
By pressing the DEMO function button, the device automatically starts with presenting the functions and their
combinations. First, the massages in the neck/shoulder area and in the entire back area are presented, with the

massage heads on the back (D) moving from the bottom (start position) to the top in circular movements and the
massage heads on the neck (B) moving from the inside to the outside in circular movements. At the same time,
the heat function and vibration in the seat are active. Here, the vibration intensity has been set to a low level.
Afterwards, this program is presented with reverse directions of rotation and medium vibration intensity. In the

end, the vibration massage is activated again in the seat, but with the highest intensity level. The LEDs indicate
the respectively activated massage areas and functions. The device stops as soon as all functions have been
completed.

Neck (I) function button
The neck function button switches the massage on and off in the neck/shoulder area. Adjust the massage heads
to the desired height by turning the rotary control (C). Switch the device on by pressing the On/Off (O) function
button. Pressing the neck function button, a reversible kneading massage in the neck/shoulder area can be

performed. Press this button once and the left massage head (B) kneads in circular movements anti-clockwise
and the right massage head (B) clockwise. Press it once more and you will reverse the directions of rotation.
Press the button a third time and the neck massage will be switched off.
