SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not use the device when damage to the device or cable parts is visible, when it does not function
properly, when the seat or control unit have fallen down or become wet. In order to avoid hazards,
please send the device to the service centre for repair.
• The zip fastener on the rear side of the massage seat cover must not be opened. It is only used for
production-related purposes.
• Do not leave the device unattended when it is connected to the grid.
• The maximum operating time for an application is 15 minutes. Allow the device to cool for at least
15 minutes before you use it again.
• Avoid any contact between the device and pointed or sharp objects.
• Never place and use the device directly next to an electric heater or other sources of heat.
• Never use the massage seat cover when it is folded together.
• Never use the device below blankets and pillows.
• Only operate the device in the upright position. Never spread the device out flat when you use it.
• Make sure that all moving parts can move freely at all times.
• Never sit or stand with your full weight on the moving parts of the device and do not place any objects
on it.

What is Shiatsu massage?
The important massage techniques, such as the manual lymphatic drainage and the reflex zone massage,
also include Shiatsu, a form of the finger pressure massage. This form of body therapy developed in Japan
has its roots in traditional Chinese massage. A gentle touch and beneficial pressure encourages the life
energy to flow. This massage aims both at relieving tensions and at harmonising the optimum flow of the
life energy, body and psyche.
How does the PROMED Shiatsu massage cover work?
With your Promed MSA-900 Shiatsu massage seat cover, you have a modern device for proper Shiatsu
massage in the back area. The Promed MSA-900 is equipped with two massage heads in the neck/
shoulder area (B) and two three-dimensionally swinging double-massage heads (D) for the Shiatsu
massage of the three zones "upper back", "lower back" and "entire back". In addition to this, the device
is equipped with a 3-step vibration function in the sitting area (F) and a heat function in the massage
heads that can also be switched on. The unique combination of intense Shiatsu and vibration massage
and the thermal radiation enables an effective and relaxing application with the massage seat cover. You
can comfortably make your settings with the easy-to-use control unit (G).

COMMISSIONING THE DEVICE

Please check that the delivery is complete before commissioning.
Only use original parts!
Before using the device for the first time, the two transport locks which are on the
top and bottom rear side of the backrest must be removed.
Do not use the massage device for more than 15 minutes and allow it to cool.
Longer use of the device can result in the hyperstimulation of the muscles and thus in cramps instead
of relaxation.
The massage can be stopped at any time by pressing the On/Off (O) function button.
