with the Power-On Self Test
This step tells you how to turn on the 3270 PC
and what to look for when it tests itself.
Don't Turn on Your System Unit Yet
Wait until you have read the next section that
describes the Power-On Self Test or POST, for
short.
What to Expect
Every time you turn on your 3270 PC, it tests
itself. You should know what to look for while
the tests are running.
Three things will happen:
1. The memory in your system unit is tested. As
it is tested, the amount of memory that was
checked and is working appears in the upper
left corner of your screen.
