Step 1. Check Your Cable and
Power Cord Connections
1.
Set all work station On/Off (I/O) switches,
and any other attached devices, to Off (0).
2. Disconnect all non-IBM devices.
3. Unplug the system unit from the electrical
outlet.
4.
Plug a working lamp or small appliance into
the outlet to make sure it has electrical
power.
5. CAUTION
Do not do this next step during an
electrical storm.
Make sure the all the cable connections
between your units are secure and that the
connector pins are not loose or damaged.
