3) Releasing the buttonwill
producea cleaningpaper. Whenthe cleaning
paper id produced,the screendisplays"MPLOADTHE PAP".
4) Nowplacethe cleaningpap faceup in themulti-purpose tray,inserting
it as far as it will go withoutforcingit. Makesure that the paperguides
are alignedwith the paper.
5) Press the [TEST] button.The printerwill
feed the paper and the screen
displays"NOW CLEANING".
6) Whencleaningis done,the screenwill display
"CLEANINGDONE"for
one second.
8.4 CLEANINGTHE EXTERIOROF THE PRINTER
Beforecleaning,make sure that the power cord is removed.
Use only water and neutraldetergentto removemarks and spots from the
printer, then wipe the printer dry with a soft dry cloth. Use of any other
cleaningsolutionmay darnagethe printer.
The printer does not require lubrication.Never attemptto lubricate any
internalorextemalpartsoftheprinter.Otherwise, l ubricationmayaffectthe
operationof the printerand damagethe printer.
