SET-UP MENU
4-1-2. FIXED HDD INITIALIZE
At the HDD SETUP menu,
① Turn the SHUTTLE ring to select the FIXED HDD INITIALIZE.
② Press the ENTER button, and then turn the JOG dial to select Y (YES) for the initializing.
③ Turn the SHUTTLE ring to go to another menu in the HDD SETUP> or press
the ESC button to exit the HDD SETUP>.
CAUTION - All data will be deleted on the internal HDD(s), If the HDD is initialized.
- If an HDD is being recorded, HDD can't be initialized
4-1-3. BACKUP SETUP>
At the HDD SETUP menu,
① Turn the SHUTTLE ring to select the BACKUP SETUP.
② Press the ENTER button. The BACKUP SETUP menu screen appears.

1 HDD COPY MODE:MANUAL
2 EVENT RECORD BACKUP : OFF
3 R-HDD INITIALIZE>
4-1-3-1. HDD COPY MODE
At the BACKUP SETUP> menu,
① When the HDD COPY MODE is selected, turn the JOG dial to select AUTO or MANUAL.
② Turn the SHUTTLE ring to go to another menu in the BACKUP SETUP> or press the ESC
button to exit the BACKUP SETUP>.
MANUAL MODE: Copy the recorded data from the internal HDD to R-HDD manually by pressing
the COPY button on the front panel.
AUTO MODE:
The images are recorded both in internal HDD and R-HDD simultaneously.
(The internal HDD must be the same to R-HDD in type and quantity)
4-1-3-2. EVENT RECORD BACKUP
At the BACKUP SETUP> menu,
① Turn the SHUTTLE ring to select the EVENT RECORD BACKUP, and then turn the JOG
dial to select ON or OFF.
② Turn the SHUTTLE ring to go to another menu in the BACKUP SETUP> or press the ESC
button to exit the BACKUP SETUP>.
On: The event data will be backed up into the R-HDD when the event is occurred.
