Features
Your phone provides many security options, i n cluding a user-
p ro gra m m able lock code and call re s t riction fe a t u re s . To
access the Security menu from Standby mode, p ress
, and then enter the fo u r - d i git lock code (the lock code
is set at the fa c t o ry to " 0 0 0 0 " ) . P ress the associated digit key
to access one of the fo l l owing Security options:
1 - Lock
2 - Restri c t
3 - Lock Code
4 - Pri o rity #
5 - PIN
6 - Clear Memory
7 - Hide My #
0 - Reset Phone

Lock Mode

When the phone is in Lock mode, you can answer incoming
c a l l s , but you cannot place outgoing calls (except to 000,112,
* 9 1 1 , and the seven user-pro gra m m able Pri o rity nu m b e rs ) .
You can lock the phone manu a l ly during use, or set the
phone to lock automatically when it is turned on.
Dialing in Lock Mode
You can place calls to emergency services and pri o rity nu m-
b e rs while your phone is in Lock mode. To place normal out-
going calls in Lock mode, enter the lock code to unlock the
p h o n e , and then dial the phone nu m b e r.
