Personal Greeting
N o t e : This function is ava i l able only if supported by your ser-
vice prov i d e r.
You can create and display a 12-ch a racter personal gre e t i n g
that displays in Standby mode and when you turn on the
p h o n e .
To create a personal gre e t i n g :
1 . P ress
to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress
for Display.
3 . P ress
for Gre e t i n g . The current greeting is displaye d .
N o t e : The text entry on your greeting screen defaults to T 9
as shown in the lower right of the display. P ress
v i ew your text input modes. Select one of the other thre e
options (Alpha, S y m b o l , or Number) or leave it in T9 input
m o d e . For a description of T 9 , see " T 9

4 . Enter your personal greeting by pressing the alphanu m e r-
ic keys on the key p a d .
5 . P ress
to save the setting.
Animation Display
Your phone displays graphics images when it is turned on or
o ff.This setting is just for fun and grins so have fun with it.
You have a few graphics to select from for these power on
and off image s .H e re 's how to do it:
